This is such a pity

It is really time to get down be serious. While I am in this bag cum work haze, there's so many things that are going on. I have yet to sit down and think about everything. Mainly I am pre-ocupied with finalising my work before I move to the new agency next week. It's quite a bitch really, trying to handover work to the new team, disconnecting my phone, car park and many stuff while trying to figure out how I will adjust to the new, selling more and more stuff at ebay to cover up my cost for buying a new camera charger and thinking about the heartache in the form of card statement which I will be getting soon as my sister is maxing it out in US. What is going on with me? What am I up to? My blog will turn one year old soon and I couldn't even believe it myself that I managed to stick that long to something. Supposedly blog will get me a bf, the last I checked, I am still single. Apparently as well, my writing has become less angst and more washdown than it was previously an

I really have to say that flicking through the channels and watching E! is really disturbing. Where have I been? I have just found out that that bimbo Ashley is going out with what-that-twat from Fall Out Boy and shit. Seems like the trend these days is to get a so called rock band boyfriend and bang them dead silly. Didn't she used to part her legs for Ryan "Hair" Caberlalalwhaterhisnameis? And how about this fake group Bad Charlotteshit frontman Joel someshit who is banging Nicole Dumbie after going down on Hilary "Can't Sing For Nuts" Duff's muff? And can we forget Miss Fake Avril here who came out and condemned Britney and shit, look who is the the real fake now? Nice blonde hair and nice wedding gown. Hardly skater fashion if you ask me. And check out her fugly husband from Sum 41. Seems like these day all you need to do to sell some album is to dye your hair from blonde to brunette, play 'rock' music (it's actually pop in disguise) and

OMG I ORDERED MY ANYA BAG!

From: http://www.wearewhatwedo.org/bag-shop/index.html . They are the people behind the enviromental side which Anya Hindmarch is working with. I found someone posted in their blog that they still have some stock left and all you need is a UK address. So here it is. Though it cost 3x more than what I would have paid in KL (they forced you to buy a stupid book on environment, like who the hell cares?) but it's better than paying through your nose like so many did in ebay. If you know anyone looking for the bag, pls let pass the news around.

First look

My sister called home last night...around 2-3am ish to ask me if she should get this so called business like/laptop bag thingy from Coach. For me. I was like whatever la. So here's the first look, together with the rest of her loot. She ended up with the handbag which was a steal...only USD40. Mine's around USD270 which is another steal considering the actual price here. The monograming is a little bit more discret but anyway if you don't like it - please say nothing.

New York cleans up after asbestos-tainted blast NEW YORK (Reuters) - Some New Yorkers doubted official assurances on Thursday that the air surrounding a deadly steam pipe explosion in midtown Manhattan was safe to breathe despite the discovery of asbestos-tainted debris. Workers began cleaning up the site of Wednesday evening's blast, which shook buildings, unleashed a geyser of steam and boiling, brownish water, and sent people fleeing in scenes reminiscent of the Sept. 11 attacks in 2001 ... Okay, so like not like I am very concerned about World news and shit and since it's not about terrorist shit, so that's okay. What I am pissed off is that because of this little incident, the subway are closed. It was closed and my sister cannot get to Marc Jacobs just yet. Its the little things that pissed me off. At least that cow managed to stroll down 5th Avenue and act all glamour. She even dressed up for that ocassion. Seems like people who stroll there are super well dressed. E

As I was waiting for my stupid Client to approve my stupid FA (that's finished artwork for you peeps out there) and have to wait further for the test proof to come back (you need to check the color before you can output the file and then send to the media owners like magazines for printing), I got chatting with our resident Mr Know It All ID Man and everything in between - Adrienz . Our usual bitching would consist of either his cute brother or his unhealthy obsession with "something". So Mr Know It All told me to go browsing at TrendsNow which quite fun as it merges everything that a bitch like me would love - fashion, architecture, design and everything beautiful. Somehow I got linked to another great site called Design Hotel , a website to take note when there's extra cash for holidaying (which literally translate to never because there always nothing extra) and it was amazing. Super amazing browsing through all these boutique-like hotels. Surely a departure from

Of course I care for my Ipod. It has been my constant travelling companion for years now. I think since it's the 2nd generation pod, that makes it around 3 years old which is quite a life time for a gadget. Considering that I do use it quite often (mainly at home), I would say it was worth the investment. Now comes the hard part, if I want to even send it for repair. Knowing Mac, sending it (off warranty) will cost you easily 60 bucks upfront. Repair or otherwise. If you choose to repair it, it would be easily a minimum of a 100 bucks. I have a bad feeling that the pod is beyond repair. I had the same problem when I first bought it and they replaced it with a new one for me. That says alot. Now comes the decision decision time - to buy or not to buy a new pod. Did some research and APPLE iPod 30GB Audio Player (USB2.0) - RM969.00 APPLE iPod 80GB Audio Player (USB2.0) - RM1349.00 Personally speaking from experience, 30GB is really more than enough. Now I have to think how can I coug

When Life Gives you more lemon, chilli, ginger, pepper…

So my iPod died on my on Sunday. Then I found out that either my camera's charger or battery also died. How nice. Funny thing is I didnt scream or cry like the last time. Sure, it's a hassle to rearrange my songs all over again but don't know. Just no energy. I just dump it aside.

After a week of less than satisfactory sleep, I have finally felt that I rested just enough. It’s not like I don’t sleep, it’s typically a minimum of 8 hours a day but somehow I ended waking up feeling more tired than the night before. Well, of course this is usually the case when I have so much on my mind. It’s normally work related but I am surprised actually because I don’t really worried and cared for them as much as I used to. Somehow, it lingers on the corner of my mind. A close colleague and I was talking about quite a lot of stuff and she mentioned to me that people were talking behind me about my suicidal move to another agency to handle a telco account. Everyone is convinced that I am out of my mind and she told me to go and prove them wrong. That was before she went on telling me her own experience in working on telco account as well. I know people has been nice enough to pre-ampt me the situation but honestly I told them that I can never be prepared for it. Imagine this sce

Mad About Marc

Anyone who knows me or rather see me online would know my latest madness. Now before I get to that, I have to say that of late, I am have morphed into a madbag monster that basically go berserk when you talk about a new bag and maybe to a certain extend I am. Perhaps I am trying to get over the Anya bag or maybe I am just looking for the next high. Shopping addiction is no different with meth, both requiries you to spend and throw away your life. However, I think it is more of a shield to my current shitty life. I can't wait to get out from my agency and it's just less than a month more to go. Already shits are everywhere. Yesterday's supposedly glamourous shoot ended up till late at night and the results were appaling. Client hates them and I am about to see them in an hour time to try and salvage it to avoid a reshoot. It's always so much fabulous on TV or America's Next Top Model isn't it? well to a certain extend it is. Big set, fabulous studio, VVIP treatme

So there was that drama episode on Friday, it wasn’t that bad and I guess thinking about now is the gutted feeling that I could have sold the bag for thousands and it was so close yet so far. Imagine what I can do with the monies – shoes, belts and bags galore I am telling you. However there was abit of good news on Friday itself – I won a brand new phone. While it’s good news to me, some people are not too amused – my friends said that it was unfair, how can I win it and Miss Edwina even said I was rebuked my last post saying that everything that I own, I have worked for it. The truth is, there’s nothing free about that phone which I won. Yes, I confessed that my client organized the contest. However, I did NOT handle it. I did NOT choose the winners. I have NO power to influence my client to do so. In fact I DISLIKE the client who handled that competition. Furthermore, I joined using my sister’s name. I took two days to think about the slogans and researched some the words and rewrot

7am to 12 noon

For a person who just lined up for 5 hours, I am quite calm. You see, I literally watched the "I'm Not A Plastic Bag" tote got sold out in front of me. There was just four more people in front of me and it was announced that all of it was gone. Initially I was told I would be the last few people who would be getting it but luck obviously was not on my side. Plenty of ifs...if only I went there just a bit earlier. If if if... Anyway, the crowd was less than impressed with the verdict as they started behaving really wild, screaming and pushing and throwing insults all around. Guards and cops were called. The manager from KLCC came by. It was quite scary actually. The spokeperson from Anya Hindmarch just came out and apologize and thats that. Most of us were unhappy because we were obviously misused as their pr tool. They said they didnt anticipate the turnout and they did told people to stop lining up. BULLSHIT. It's plain to see that having lines that cross over the wh

Pretty Inside

As I was spending the whole day chatting either with my friend over the hike of ciggie cost and almost about nothing at all, it's bit daunting to think that I could be this free. I know that I deserved it and this is like the calm before the storm but years of work has acustomed to me to non stop work. Nevertheless, yesterday's shopping trip has inspired me to look for some stuff online - furniture. Interior design to me was never a big deal, it was like the whole package and it is still a whole package that incorporates the furniture and materials but as long as something is good and color coordinated with a theme, then it's good. A recent contest that I did for a client did inspired me to dig deeper. Managed to bump to this site and this is what I discovered: These are argueable one of the most famous chair designs out there. These day plenty of copycats of course. Love the shape. Less like chair, more like art Love love love love the details for the legs Crazy about thi
