RM1,000   Now RM495  Save 51% To a huge exten, this is a great deal considering the pricing. You would probably have to pay more here in Malaysia to get yourself a piece of that and it's pretty iconic for those who are uninitiated. But even with free shipping, I nearly clicked on checkout...took me alot to say no. And walk away.

It's raining everyday, it seems

They say it's not a matter of how much you earn but rather how much you save - savings as in money that you put away either for investment, or stashed away for those rainy days like when your favourite designer is on sale or finally getting that thing that you have been coverting for millions of years. You know what I mean. But it's never easy, is it? You can see money literally pouring out as soon as it gets in, bills and such and then to entertain all the hungers that you kept well supressed since last month, before you know it the 100 ringgit bill is broken into smaller denominations and then it becomes smaller and smaller till you don't know where it all went. How about pulling out that certain small sized card and just let it swipe away all the blues? (shopping seems to cure everything isn't it?) And then what do you get at the end of the day and at the end of the month? Nothing has changed and you rack up more damages and you continue the same cycle all over again...

Part of the battle that I have to go through on a daily basis (nothing to do with work or food) besides trying to wake up to run is the fact that I have to restrain myself from buying yet another thing that I don't need. That I think is my biggest problem. It's so easy to go 'oh it's so expensive here in KL so that is worth it' or 'oh I will never find it here in KL' and before I know it, I am typing my card CVV numbers and clicking on place order. And don't even get started on how I should be rewarding myself because of the stress at...

All for rainy days

As I was saying about how things doesn't really change - it's basically same shit but different ass got me thinking about my spending habit. No matter how much I've grown and earn, there never seem to be enough. There is always the constant craving for more and more. The only difference is that I exercise more restrain as I get older. I mean money will always come in, month in and month out but time will eventually run out and then what? The only thing sadder than an old gay man is a poor old gay man. Besides, one gotta maintain the lifestyle, no? It just amazes me how people just throw their caution into the wind and buy first, charge it and think later. I can never do that. As much as say for example I want this or that item...I do think about it for awhile just to be sure if I want it. More often than not, by the time I decides to pull the plunge, usually sold out or out of size. Which isn't a bad thing. One really need to think about saving money more seriously. I ...
