Thinking of Java

Image
Not the programming type but rather the island of Java. A friend went there recently and here are his pics. I know its random but I have been thinking of a grand Indonesia tour for awhile now. Probably have to do it soon, like next month or in July. For now, still up in the air.  Latest update: Travel partner pulled out, more likely to do it next year. Oh well.

Monday lust - I am a Huli Jing

Image
Japanese has Kitsune and the chinese have Huli Jing and with Burberry, you get the foxhead clutch which I love love love. There was one available but I let it go...yes I did. I need to save monies. Oh and the duck is very cute too.

One thing makes us feel bad about all the great things that we have

Image
It might not be Maldives but it was certainly nice. I know the reference to Maldives is like so random - thats because I just saw someone I knew who is obviously living the life that I meant to live being there. What a nice way to rain on my small parade but thinking about it again, I should appreciate the little things I like - I mean why do we let that one or two thing make us feel bad about all the great things that we already have? I certainly did enjoyed myself very much indeed and nice topup on my tan from Lipe. In fact, I have not finished from peeling from Lipe and now this. Kuantan, twas nice seeing you for the first time.

Coming clean about things

For the past one year since my return from India I have been plotting and thinking and truth to be told that while I was supposed to save up as much as I can muster, I haven't been doing it properly. Since then, there was yet another a bag (or two or three or four) and also some trips in between which are great. Sometimes you just can't plan for things that just happened like trips. I don't regret taking them as anything and any place new is a plus. But to be honest, I have not been doing it properly. And I sometimes get carried away with how things are - I didn't expect all my plans to fall flat on my face, one after another and last weekend was the last straw. I just felt so tired for trying and boy, I have been trying even though I know chances of making things happen are next to zero. I nearly want to just breakdown and cry but I didn't. Instead, I just went shopping and try to forget about trying so hard for just one second.Ok, so the shopping bit isn't e

Hot child out of the city

Image
Twas a hot last weekend but I hope it stays the same. Getting out of the city and getting into water just for a weekend. Be good! Pictured here with New Development women sweatshirt from H&M. Not me, so it was returned. Really hot, the weather.

Rumous has it again

Suddenly Teresa

Now much have been written about politics in the recent times and personally I have reframed myself from saying too much about it mainly because one, I don't know much about it or enough to make any statement that doesn't come off as looking silly and two, I was unable to vote because I will be away. Since then, all these dramas with family members fighting with each another, friends bickering with friends and for what? Politics. Sure, I may view this from a rather pessimistic point but that doesn't mean I don't care. I rather think that I am being realistic about things. Whats really funny to me is that people who usually don't get a rat ass over things are all suddenly turning into activist and also expert. I mean, it's a good thing for people to start caring about what's happening in the country but I believe most of this would probably be the heat of the moment and herd mentality more than anything else. It would all fizzle and die out like all things

Loving Lipe and Langkawi

Image
So bitches, I am back. It's been fun at times, frustrating because of my travel partner, jokes, drama and sickness here and there. It was well worth it. Planning nothing and do nothing other than figuring what to eat next. Langkawi is very sweet, like how I remembered it to be but I didn't spend much time there. I really love my dodgy backpacker hostel in Langkawi because you get tons of shirtless men all the time - mostly young, dumb and probably full of cum. The stay at Lipe was much more luxurious so there's none of that but rather more of quiet couples, happy families strolling about. The beach is nice and white but I have to say, the water is better in Perhentian. At least I can cross this out from my to do list.

Will be back soon. Or better still, never.
