New York cleans up after asbestos-tainted blast NEW YORK (Reuters) - Some New Yorkers doubted official assurances on Thursday that the air surrounding a deadly steam pipe explosion in midtown Manhattan was safe to breathe despite the discovery of asbestos-tainted debris.
