It's not easy, hasn't been easy and still not easy for me to say no to beautiful clutches and bags. I am right now down to just 1) Balenciaga clutch - only because it doesn't have much resale value and the color and size is amazing for anything. It's also hardy meaning I can throw it around. 2) Coach clutch - Bigger size than Balenciaga, no logos and in a bright red with vertical stripes across. Probably wouldn't fetch much at resale but to buy a new one would cost me alot more. 3) Givenchy Pandora - I tried parting with this baby a few times without much success and truth to be told, it is a very versatile, unique and useful bag to own. Right now wished it was in any color than chestnut or almond (as it was called) I really want this because of its size and it's Céline for crying out loud. You don't need any reasons. But not buying it means I can see more of this and Italy

To be honest, I was quite surprised that I didn't come out with a wish list last year for Christmas, there was one for 2011 and while nothing came out from it but it's nice to know that I may be not as materialistic as I used to be. I have recently spent quite a fair bit on more clothes, trekking shoes, accessories for traveling. But all these are nothing compared to the bags that I used to buy. Anyway, like always its hard to get any gear or anything cheap in Malaysia. I have to like go through every store online and wait for sale, free shipping and make it a point to visit all the trekking and travel shops in town. Japanese has Kitsune and the chinese have Huli Jing and with Burberry, you get the foxhead clutch which I love love love. There was one available but I let it go...yes I did. I need to save monies. Oh and the duck is very cute too.

Yes, what happened indeed to saving money? While waiting for my shooting stars (actually working on them), I need something to perk things up. Waiting is not my forte and at least I can do this. What's the point of keeping everything and be unhappy about life? It doesn't stop while we are planning and waiting. Gonna make full use of it. So yes, overspent this month. I think it's so bad so that it exceeds my salary. God, I am such a rebel @.@ So am I high maintenance? Probably, but I am maintaining myself and I am worth every penny and cents.

I actually did one for 2011 and part of me didn't really want to share all the so called purchases because like I mentioned in the past, it is abit vulgar to show everything but on the other hand these are beautiful purchases that I was quite happy with and since no one can really keep up with me, this is the one time that I can look back at the year's loot. Still in hand Was told that it retails for 4K, got it for 2.4K Found online for 4Kish, got a secondhand from Singapore for 1.5K Retails around 600bucks online, around 800 locally and 300 from ebay This one is damn lousy in the sense it was impulsive, more expensive than online and few months later, saw other colors that I like. There are days when I feel really guilty, I am always in love with beauty. Anything beautiful and expensive. Well, not always have to be expensive but yes exclusive. The story behind the beauty, how they packaged it, brand it - what can I say? I am an ad person and I buy into advertising. I am also a silly romantic which is why I also buy into the history because all these things are no different from the mass produced cheap high street items except it's heritage and brand story. The small interlocked C's are cute, no? So ya, money goes this way. I still feel guilty.

So my all time favourite high street brand has finally opened - good and bad I guess since every Ah Lian and Tom and Dick will be shopping there but fashion cannot be so snobbish esp not cheap and mass fashion. That's what Givenchy and Prada are here for. Well, cheap it was not because the total bill was like what the hell? Oh well. There are some nice and decent pieces, so what can I say? Also, it's not like I can't afford it. Just have to tighten my spending for the upcoming trip. That's all!
