Why I wanna marry - moriuo's illustrations

Image
A little detour from my usual features of men - I have been following this artist from Japan called moriuo and apparently he has been doing gay related illustrations for local gay magazines and I have to say I love his subject - always 'cubby' looking Japanese men with facial hair. What is there not to like? I would so marry one if I can find him LOL it's all very sweet kind of depiction of gay life - meeting on subway etc and yes a dog or two thrown into the picture. I know some of you will just come in your pants thinking about a boyfriend with a dog. Well, an apt theme since I will be off to Japan. Wish me luck! Holi - a bucketlist

Image
One day, just too many things right now. Holi is an important festival to Hindus. It is celebrated at the end of the winter season on the last full moon day of the lunar month Phalguna (February/March), (Phalgun Purnima), which usually falls in March, sometimes in late February.[23] The festival has many purposes. First and foremost, it celebrates the beginning of the new season, spring. In 17th century literature, it was identified as a festival that celebrated agriculture, commemorated good spring harvests and the fertile land.[7] Hindus believe it is a time of enjoying spring's abundant colours and saying farewell to winter. Holi festivities mark the beginning of new year to many Hindus, as well as a justification to reset and renew ruptured relationships, end conflicts and accumulated emotional impurities from past.[13][22] It also has a religious purpose, symbolically signified by the legend of Holika. The night before Holi, bonfires are lit, known as Holika Dahan (bur...

Just don't fly MAS

Image
Gotta be the stupidest comment that I have read on Facebook and to think that I am friends with such person. Granted it was many many years since I left that agency and that woman went down to Singapore. However little do I know that a well traveled and well educated person such as her could blame the recent incident entirely to the airline and thus discounting ever again flying with them. Anyone who knows me will know that while I am hardly the most patriotic person on earth and I have in the past slammed the airlines for losing money for many years now and relying on handouts from Government and Petronas. But that's besides the point - whatever it is, MAS is well known to be value for money, reliability and decent quality for the price you pay. Sure it's no SIA but for poor people such as myself, I am very happy to be flying with them and will continue to do so. Anytime I can avoid AirAsia, I would because I will be rest assured knowing that whatever I have paid for - thats...

One week away

Dear old Thailand, You will never change. In fact, you get more tiresome like an old wife. But sometimes I am reminded of why I fell in love with you at the first place. So did many more farangs who were touched and yet burnt by your smile and your beauty. 6 years ago, it was your Pattaya and 2 years it has been with Krung Thep. Make no mistake, I will never pay to have you. There's just so many others out there even though there's only one you. But I will see you again. Not so soon. Till work send me over there again. xoxo
