Off to India I go

All right folks, there won't be much of update for the coming two weeks as I will travelling through India, taking in all the beauty and colors and sounds and scents. It won't be all pretty but I am looking forward to it. Never in this lifetime that I thought this will ever happen but hey, never say never.

UPDATE: some driving plans attached here. We hired a car and driver which was quite cheap for USD220.

13th Feb 2012 Monday – New Delhi/Mathura/Agra (220kms/5hrs)
Pick from your hotel around 0800hrs then drive to Agra with enroute visit to Mathura (Birthplace of Lord Krishna) and stay overnight in Agra .

14th Feb 2012 Tuesday – Sightseeing of Agra
Sunrise visit to Taj Mahal then return to hotel, after breakfast visit Agra Fort & Baby Taj, Evening free to relax or shopping in the local Bazaar, overnight in Agra .

15th Feb 2012 Wednesday – Agra/Sikri/Jaipur (255kms/5.5hrs)
Today, drive 5.5hrs to Jaipur and enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri then continue driving to Jaipur, on arrival check in and stay overnight in Jaipur.

16th Feb 2012 Thursday – Sightseeing of Jaipur
 Full day for sightseeing of Jaipur that includes visit to Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal Etc.

17th Feb 2012 Friday –Sightseeing around Jaipur
Today you can visit the Jai Garh Fort and Nahargarh Fort and evening free to explore the local Bazaar and overnight stay in Jaipur.

18th Feb 2012 Saturday – Jaipur to Delhi (265kms/6hrs)
Today Return to Delhi and you will transferred to your hotel for overnight stay in Delhi

Of late, I have been home consistently early (my definition of early is different very lar) and one of the things that I've noticed on TV was the return of shows from the past. I suppose kids/cikus these days might not know but those who are somewhat old enough in the 90s will know this - back in the day we don't even have more than 5 TV channels and there was no Internet nor iPhone or anything else.
