Alot of nothing to do over laici martini

So there was plenty of nothing to do over a laici martini at Alexis yesterday. Can't really remember the last time I was there but I knew it was long. Then again you can't really fork out hundreds by ordering a simple meal and two drinks - slave and low wage earner like yours truly can't afford that, no way.

I was late and not under the name of fashion but due to work again. Can you imagine that after pushing deadlines for them, they could still revert back with the work late, incorrect and then refused to amend them (have to go for dinner first). Like hello? I don't sit here all day long and wait for your crap to send to Client, can imagine if this is a major date? I would be single forever then. Anyway...

It was fun to be back into civilised society - it has been beers and butch pubs for many months now. So there we were, a couple of fags with my fag and martini talking about and doing next to nothing. Indulging in the fact that we don't really care if people know we are gay or otherwise though there was a couple of ocassion where some of them had to pretend to be all butch.

It's funny when our girl Edwina remarked about how sad it was that during our younger years we tried to act as straight as possible at the fear of being called a fag or sissy or anything emasculating. Now look at us now, indulging in it, laughing like queens and posing like princesses, acting more drama than usual.

Really, what is so bad about that? You won't be catching me going all bro bro with anyone, then again everyone just brush it aside and say that I can do whatever I want because I am working in a tolerant industry. Maybe so, but I am the only gay guy in account servicing and probably there are one or two more (rubbish ones) in the studio but that's that.

But isn't it about time to show people who we really are? The real us, comes in different shades and colors. You can be gay and be anything and we are no freaks that kidnap little boys or whatever myth that they like to believe? What about setting good example instead of the usual crap and stereotyping that we always get thrown at. Then again it might be the martini talking. Let's face the cigarette smoke and wake up. Some thing will never change. To quote unquote Cookie - this is too deep. Whatever it is, sure feels great to just go out, away from work and just have fun.
