What happened....

Image
Yes, what happened indeed to saving money? While waiting for my shooting stars (actually working on them), I need something to perk things up. Waiting is not my forte and at least I can do this. What's the point of keeping everything and be unhappy about life? It doesn't stop while we are planning and waiting. Gonna make full use of it. So yes, overspent this month. I think it's so bad so that it exceeds my salary. God, I am such a rebel @.@ So am I high maintenance? Probably, but I am maintaining myself and I am worth every penny and cents.

If you don't know this then you are probably living under a rock . I don't think any of us can afford sit on the fence anymore. Remember, the only way people will change is for you to make the first step and first change. The world will never change if people like Ghandi or Mandela keep numb and stay in their 'closet'. The world will not change if you continue to pretend to be attracted to girls or laugh at homophobic jokes. If you don't even respect yourself, who is going to respect you? I might not be into marriage but it should be a choice and not chosen for me or anyone. If you are not with us, you are against us.

I couldn't help but wonder...

That's the line that Carrie Bradshaw uses all the time. And today of sort is Sarah Jessica Parker's birthday. Happy birthday SJP! The woman who played the woman who inspired women around the world. For me, it was just fashion orgasm week after week. From the iconic Fendi Baguette to Dior's saddle bag, everyone wants one. Also quite memorable is the newspaper dress from Dior by Galliano, it has become a Galliano signature now to all the other crazy outfits. This is the show that made Choos, Blahnik, Louboutin the holy trinity of fashion and no one has done that much to fashion since Audrey Hepburn's films for Givenchy - the likes of Gossip Girl/Carrie Diaries are not even anywhere close. Just a bonus, here are all the things that Carrie has 'wondered' over the years - click here

just an hour away

From KL, it's a short trip and you can see this . I have to admit that I have never been this close to a paddy field. And to spend hours within it's proximity. If only someone build a nice infinity raised pool behind one of these traditional house with fabulous sundeck chairs and cafe - it would have been perfect. Cocktails and all. But it's work and I have never been here so that's all good. New experiences yet again.

A quick and unexpected booking to Koh Lipe. See you beach in May. Meanwhile more plans in the works. That's all.

instaSKANK

My friends think I am obsessed with Instagram which I am probably guilty of but the arrays of eye candies - can you blame me? From clothes, fashion to travel and then men. All of the above which I really do like. I mean, wait for meeting to start, scroll through instagram. Lunch break? Scroll through instagram. Traffic lights? Scroll...yes you get the picture and there's this one particular guy who really got my heart racing - I was like love/lust at first sight when I saw his profile picture. How adorable is he? The facial hair, the glasses... Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! You can follow him too @ http://followgram.me/mister_von_teese Awwwwwwww......

Anything is a possibility

Going out of the country to experience new things is all fine and good but if you are confined here and get no chance of doing that then the next best thing is to make the best out of everything. One of the things that I don't do often these days are going for shoot. I think I am just too old for that shit, just let the young kids go for it. It's long, tedious and sometimes fun but I've always felt that I got better things to do but once in awhile, going away to weird and funny places can be of an experience. Well, that's me - all about new experiences this year. Can't wait for end of this month to go for one that has this quaint village house next to a paddy field and a river.

Something just reminded me

Image
Was just reading musemono's blog and he has been travelling to so many different countries ever since I the last time I check on his blog. So jealous but the truth is it's doable for me. Not so much monies issue but just that I am stuck in a moment (yes, it's going to be a U2 song...kids, you might want to wiki it since it's kinda old but anyway...) and the thing is, he's no rich but he made a point to do it. And he does it alone! I have tried travelling alone abroad ONCE and it's not really fun. It gets too quiet after awhile. This just reminds me of the so called list that I need to draw out, things to see and do before I die aka bucket list but it's more of a travel type than anything else. Given the choice I would like to see each and every part of the world and there's are many other places on top of my list but if I can do these places in the near future then I would be a happy camper. I mean there's South America, China and Russia to cover b...

Still life

It's not a bed of roses. Nor it's a bird in your hand is better than two in the bush. But I'll make do. And it's ok because there's you.

Drive

Image
Friday again and I have to wake up extra early for work. It's that time of the day when the sun shines its brightest and all you can is to cruise at certain part of the roads and get stuck at other. It's one of those days when you just want to listen to Simply Red . I deleted your number, it was too hard not to call Talk about insights. If that man have never been in love, I doubt that he can write lyrics like that. I just want to drive forever like this.

Crossing the road

Image
I don't know what to write because I don't want to think. Yes, it's a crossroad but there's a big bump or rather now more like a pothole. I was a little crushed by the setbacks and trying to escape by not thinking about it. Still moving and still living. I need to think sooner or later. But later seems to be a better option for now. Yes, a real picture of myself.
