It’s been awhile since I’ve written a longer post – as usual what can I attribute to it other than being busy. But I’ve said this many a times before that it is more of priority and interest and not so much busy. Sure I am busy, but not busy enough to not eat, talk or even see my friends. Hence sometimes I feel that whatever little energy that I have, I would rather do something else. For example, sleeping. And that I did. So now that I’ve slept and feeling slightly refreshed, I can really sit down and write a little more on the updates – nothing new is happening apart from more and more work. So there have been a lot of bad news after bad news, one can just do nothing but to live it through. What else can I say? There’s really nothing in the horizon as far as the eyes can see and even though I am feeling like I am wasting all my youth and energy away, I can do nothing but just flow along. It's Friday and music is the only thing keeping me company (apart from my friends). Just want to share this piece of music, first heard on Kitsune compilation (which I reaaaaaally love) and since then has become the soundtrack for my travelling. Don't believe life would be called life if it's easy to live through. While on paper it seems like I have everything and I do have alot and I am thankful for it but I can't escape the cosmic cycle of torture that will visit everyone once in awhile. One simply just cannot escape unhappiness nor trouble. Even if you choose to give up everything and anything, trouble will still seek you. So then I am having a tough time at work (plus very very busy of late), something which I've never really encountered for the longest time, there's bit and pieces that are also from personal life at home and then there's some unhappiness in here and there but I have decided not to talk about it, as torturous it may be. I have since learnt that even when my back windscreen broke, it is not something that I would want to share with the world for pity or for attention like I used to (just my friends as FYI and also work since I have to be off work to get it fixed) as it all seem and...

I must admit that I have not stepped back into Penang Island for many years now. I do however remember how fun it was to visit that island – it was from a childhood memory. Remembered taking the ferry across and also visiting various places but then again that’s the thing about being a kid. Anything is more fun and more beautiful. Maybe it’s the seen-it-all attitude. So then, it was like 5-6 years ago that I went there with a couple of friends – decent enough – did the touristy thing so to speak, visit some friends and stuff, drive pass Batu Feringghi and that was it. So for the longest time I couldn’t understand the appeal of the island – Penangnites are fiercely loyal to their dear island and the non-natives will go back time after time. Probably the appeal isn’t there for me as I am not crazy about the food – even that the old timers will lament things aren’t as good as it used to. It's been awhile and I have to admit that I have been struggling or perhaps too lazy to write anything at all. Yes, work has become busier but that doesn't mean that I don't have time. It's not like I am braindead, maybe I am just being very lazy and being in the state that I am, it's just about keeping dumb. It's never really been this way all my life, rather it would be bitching away and complaining non stop but like I said many a times before, it has come to a point if no one is nice enough to tell me off then I am sick of it myself. And then of course there's the fact that everyone's is having a sucky life, so welcome to the club - some even far worst. So I stopped talking about my feelings long time ago on social media and while this is still the sacred place where I can really be me, I don't care if nobody reads this because at the end of the day I can be myself and say anything without the fear of offending people or creating a career suicid...

Somewhere in the world - a little far far away from here, million of people are enjoying their long weekend, Saturday, Sunday plus two additional bank holiday honouring their queen's 60 years on the throne. This is part of a celebration planned for nearly a year not just for tourism but also trying to lift the spirit up in times of financial troubles. Back home, I was constantly suprised by people who did know about the jubilee celebration but yet unaware that our own so called King's birthday was indeed yesterday. This I deduct has a lot to do with the fact that Saturday itself is already technically a holiday and in a country where we have so many little holidays all over the year, we simply cannot afford to declare Friday as a holiday (though a minority of companies did give their staff an extra holiday on Friday which explains the clear traffic). So my love for ramen continued - found myself going back to the same ramen shop to just steal away from everything that is happening.
